Chats is a PHP chat srever with Java 1.1 client.
For persons that need to chat enable a web Internet site and want to avoid the annoying "full-refresh HTML only" solution, Cahts provides an ideal solution. Its Java 1.1 client has been tested on the 3 latest browser generations, and the traffic generated on the server is much smaller, only new messages being sent to the chatter, not the last couple of dozens as in the standard full refresh implementation. The chat clinet uses as server the web server/coupled with PHP and MySQL.
